In 2026, the event will be held at Varadero Beach, a larger and more accessible venue that enhances the experience for athletes and the public.

Boarding for Tabarca Island remains 1,500 meters away, at the same logistical point as previous editions with the Transtabarca agency.

Equipment Rental (boards and paddles)

For those who prefer to travel without their own equipment, the event offers board and paddle rental services during the official competition days, subject to mandatory prior reservation.

Airport Transfers

Transfer service from Alicante Airport to Santa Pola for participants, subject to mandatory reservation. Assigned transfer times will be confirmed via email.

ACCOMMODATION

The event has special agreements with local accommodations for participants and companions.

All recommended accommodations are within walking distance of Varadero Beach or have direct connections to the event area.

INVITATION LETTERS

For international participants who require a visa, the organization can issue an official letter upon request.

The request must be made with sufficient anticipation for visa processing.

Can someone else check in on my behalf?

Yes, provided they present the registration confirmation.

Can I register on the day of the race?

No. Registrations must be made in advance through the official platform.
The organization does not handle in-person registrations on the day of the competition.

If I don't have a federation license, can I participate?

Yes. If you do not have a valid license, you can purchase the corresponding insurance during the registration process.

If I am a minor, can I participate in the Tabarca Island SUP race?

Yes, authorization signed by the father, mother, or legal guardian and their coach would be required.

Is there a secure area to leave my equipment?

Yes. The event has a supervised area for the temporary storage of boards and equipment during the official competition days.

Where and when should I leave my board for the Tabarca Island SUP race?

Boards must be dropped off on Friday from 4 PM at the organization’s truck located at the event site on Varadero Beach. All boards must be correctly identified. They can be with or without a cover. Paddles will be transported personally by the participant on the day of the race on the ferry.

Is there a parking area near the event?

Yes. The new location at Playa del Varadero has free parking areas nearby with easy access.
